How I Work
I work where stories live.
Between websites, social media, and live events, I help tourism brands, venues, and creative businesses build a presence that feels consistent, recognisable, and human.
I’m based in Glasgow, working remotely with clients across tourism, hospitality, and live events — from small tour operators and cultural travel companies to independent venues and creative projects. My background sits at the intersection of digital content, real-world experience, and long-term brand thinking.
I care less about trends, and more about memory.

Creating your brand voice isn’t about creating a sense of urgency.
It’s about trust, familiarity, and being remembered long before someone is ready to book.
I believe strong brands are recognised before they are read. They feel familiar before they explain themselves. They don’t need to shout — they need to be consistent.
Much of my work focuses on the long game: helping brands show up in a way that feels steady, intentional, and emotionally grounded. Not every follower is a customer. Not every interaction leads to a sale. That doesn’t make it wasted.
Relationships matter — even the quiet ones. Read more about my thoughts on this in this blog.
Practical Magic
In practical terms, I support clients through:
- Social media planning, content creation, and long-term brand consistency
- Website builds, clean-ups, and content structure (primarily WordPress)
- Brand voice development for tourism, hospitality, and live-event spaces
- Hands-on support for venues and events, bridging digital planning with real-world execution
My experience spans tourism marketing agencies, independent venues, hospitality environments, and live events — which means I understand how digital presence translates on the ground.
I didn’t arrive at this work from a single discipline.
My background includes hospitality, venue management support, PR, content coordination, and years of working inside tourism marketing teams. That mix has shaped how I work: practically, collaboratively, and with respect for the realities behind the scenes.
I understand deadlines, limited budgets, seasonal pressure, and the difference between what looks good online and what actually works in real life.

I’m sometimes referred to — affectionately — as a Fairy Goth Mother.
Not because I’m mysterious for the sake of it, but because my role often involves bringing clarity, structure, and calm to projects that feel overwhelming. I help people see what’s already there, refine it, and make it coherent. The fact I wear witches hats and mostly black helps, I’m sure!
If you’re looking for someone who understands both the digital surface and the lived reality beneath it — and who values consistency over chaos — you’re in the right place.
Whether you’re building something new, refining something existing, or simply trying to make your work feel more like itself, I’m happy to talk.
